Autumn Retreat

Sunday 27.09.26 | 10:00 - 16:00

Venue: Love Yoga—a beautifully restored Grade II listed building filled with a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Join us for a detoxifying and transformative Autumn Retreat. This day is intentionally designed to rejuvenate your body and spirit as we transition into the season of harvest, reflection, and communal gathering. By beautifully weaving together Indian Ayurvedic practices and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) wisdom, we will guide you into a state of deep relaxation, vitality, and inner balance.

What to Expect

Ayurvedic Practice (Yang / Sun Energy)

Pranayama (Breathwork): Cultivate prana (life force) to energise, clear, and steady the mind.

Vinyasa Flow: A warming, grounding, and accessible movement practice to build physical strength, flexibility, and single-pointed focus.

Traditional Chinese Practice (Yin / Moon Energy)

Yin Yoga: Slow, restorative postures encouraging deep physical release, joint flexibility, and nervous system regulation.

Energetic Harmony

Together, Yin and Yang, movement and stillness, work in harmony to support your well-being on both physical and energetic levels.

Nourishment

Enjoy a selection of organic herbal teas during our breaks, alongside a delicious, vegan lunch provided for all guests.

Seasonal & Cosmic Themes

The Ayurvedic Perspective (Vata Dosha): In Ayurveda, autumn is governed by the Vata dosha, which is defined by the elements of air and space. To ground this airy energy, we will work with the Root Chakra (Muladhara) to foster stability and security. We will also honor the Sacral Chakra (Swadhistana), promoting healthy emotional fluidity and creativity through environmental changes.

The Metal Element (TCM): In Traditional Chinese Medicine, autumn is ruled by the Metal element, symbolising the harvest, introspection, and the sacred art of letting go. When this element is balanced, we access a profound sense of clarity and courage.

The Year of the Horse: Operating within the Chinese Zodiac Year of the Horse, the cosmic energy of 2026 encourages personal vitality, inner confidence, and the cultivation of meaningful social connections—both new and old.

The Corn Moon: This retreat takes place exactly one day after the Full Corn Moon (26.09.26). Historically named by agrarian and Indigenous communities for the autumn corn harvest, this lunation charges our weekend with the energy of abundance, gathering, and celebration.

Focus of Our Workshop

Transformation: Processing transitions, practicing the art of letting go, and gentle physical detoxifying.

Energetic Alignment: Balancing the Ayurvedic Doshas and the Chinese Medicine Qi (life force energy).

Personal Growth: Supporting your individual journey through Pranayama, Vinyasa, Meditation, and Yin Yoga.

Closing Invitation

Autumn gently invites us to shed what no longer serves us, making room for new growth. This retreat provides a safe, nurturing space to reconnect with yourself, with nature, and with a like-minded community—no matter where you currently stand on your journey.

We would love to welcome you. Space is limited.
