
Introduction to Yoga
New to Yoga? Want to learn a bit more about the practice? We have just got the course for you. Our 6-week Introduction to Yoga Course is perfect for those who are new to Yoga and want to learn more about its fundamentals. The program is designed for those who are curious to learn the basics and techniques of the practise.
During the course you will be learning about breath work (Pranayama) and Yoga poses (Asana) that are commonly used in Yoga classes. From seated, standing, twisting, balancing, rotating, back bending and hip opening. All these will be taught from an anatomical background with physical adjustments given. The class is designed for you to gain the foundation and confidence to use the learned techniques in a regular Yoga class. It will help with your mental and emotional wellbeing as well as your physical fitness. Yoga will help you to become physically stronger and more flexible, it quietens the mind and can help you with your sleep and to give you clarity in your day to day life. When you have completed your course, you will be able to explore the different Yoga styles.
