Holger

Hallo, I’m Holger and I would love to share my Yoga practice with you. I am a 200 hour Vinyasa Yoga and 30 hour Yin Yoga accredited instructor. Next year I will embark on the next step to my teaching practice for my 300 hour Yoga teacher training in India, which I am very excited about.

My Yoga practice began when I decided to join Natasha at a Vinyasa Yoga class which seems a lifetime ago now. She has been practicing a lot longer than me, I was too busy road cycling and rock climbing. The main reason I wanted to do Yoga was to become more flexible and to support other activities. Yoga was something alien to me. Soon I found out that Yoga is so much more than a physical exercise and it has become the anchor to my life.

You might have that spark and would like explore Yoga from a beginners level or you might already be a Yogi and want to expand your practice with us. Everyone is welcome in our classes, I teach in a way for you to find your practice with my guidance. My classes are taught from an anatomical background with verbal and physical adjustments. We are all on our own personal journey through life and we are all individuals. Yoga gives us the time to connect to our inner self, away from external expectations. Come and join me to move breath and grow.

Natasha

Hi, I am a 200 hour accredited Vinyasa teacher and have been practicing yoga since my 20s.  My practice really became more consistent around ten years ago and I never saw myself as a teacher.  However, seeing how the teacher training impacted Holger’s life made me realise that the training was a chance to deepen my knowledge of the wonderful practice of yoga, the Philosophy and how to live a life guided by its ancient wisdom.

My teaching comes from a place of enquiry and self study.  I encourage students to listen to their bodies and make little adjustments to enable them to find the Sthira Sukham or ease and strength in the pose.  As a full time Cross Sectional Radiographer, I am fascinated in the physical and physiological body and bring aspects of this part of my life into my classes.  I know from personal experience, that the little adjustments can lead to the A-ha moment and enable you to come into a pose more fully.

We would love for you to join us on your mat and know that you can come as you are.  There is no requirement in ability, just an open and inquisitive mind.
